Please Note

The Fractal Science Kit fractal generator is no longer available for download or purchase. This web site is provided for informational purposes only, and to provide online documentation for existing Fractal Science Kit users. All downloadable products have been removed and the purchase page disabled.

I continue to license fractal images for commercial use and I would be happy to work with you to license any of my fractal images. I can provide you with large, high quality image files to your specifications. Contact me at rj.hilbert@verizon.net for details.

In addition to the images found here, check out some of my latest images on deviantART, Facebook, and Flickr.

If not, you can try out the application before you need to purchase a license for the product. During the trial period, the fractal images are watermarked with the product name. Other than that, the trial version is identical to the registered version. When you register the product the watermark is removed from the fractal images.

When you purchase a product license, you will be sent an email containing licensing information which you can use to convert the trial version of the Fractal Science Kit to a registered version. See Registering the Product for details.

Downloading the Documentation

You only need to download the documentation if the version currently installed on your machine is different than the version given in the download link below. The version of the documentation installed on your machine can be found on the About dialog. The About dialog is displayed by clicking the About Fractal Science Kit command on the Help menu of the Fractal Window. If the About dialog says the documentation is Online, it means the documentation is not currently installed on your machine.

Note that the minor version number of the product is independent of that of the documentation and these generally do not match.

The Fractal Science Kit documentation is a disk-based version of the product web site that does not include the tutorials, the fractal image gallery, or the fractal images found throughout these pages. If you do not download the documentation, the Fractal Science Kit will connect to the product web site over the Internet when you try to open the documentation. I recommend that you defer downloading the documentation until after you have completed the tutorials since you will need to connect to the product web site to access the tutorials.
